UPSC (union public service commission) conducts examination for different posts in the Civil service domain in India. Last year the central government of India announced a brand new pattern for UPSC exams. They have added one more twist in the examinations that is aptitude test. In 2011 UPSC mains result, only eleven thousand people were selected out of four lakhs for IAS main examination. Now paper 1 consists of only 100 questions instead of 150. General science paper is quite tricky so the error while handling the question are more. Since the paper is very hard the cut off generally lies between forty five percent to fifty percent.
