UPSC (union public service commission) conducts examination for different posts in the Civil service domain in India. These civil service examinations include Indian Foreign Service (IFS), Administrative Service (IAS), IPS and Revenue services. These examinations are carried out in 2 steps. In 2011 UPSC mains result, only eleven thousand people were selected out of four lakhs for IAS main examination. Now paper 1 consists of only 100 questions instead of 150.
